I had some time to kill this morning and I decided to cover Drip Drop - I made it more of a country/folk song. I put in a shout out to Pitter Patter (during the "on the wall, on the rug" section), added a lousy surf guitar solo, added new lyrics ("I cried teardrops of love". This is probably my favorite cover I've recorded. Yeah, the solo is pretty buried - a mixing accident I didn't really catch haha. Love Brian's version and this cover. Seems the "Let's go/Come on" lines were left out though. :) Thanks! Hahaha I actually recorded a line of "Let's go *&$^$*&^!" but deleted it before finalizing the track. |
