Title: Farm Aid '86 (new videos on YouTube) Post by: Rocky Raccoon on May 24, 2013, 03:59:27 PM Wow, these are kind of terrible but interesting to look at.

Title: Re: Farm Aid '86 (new videos on YouTube) Post by: hypehat on May 24, 2013, 05:40:42 PM Oh my god those are awful...
Rock and Roll did not rescue these guys by the look of that video. If I saw those guys in the flesh telling me so, I'd start listening to jazz. I do like Mike singing 'IMMA GONE LOSE MY INHIBITIONS AS I MOVE CROSS THE STAGE' standing steady as a rock, nice one. What the f*** is this song - don't think I've heard it before tbh. Dude, Al saying 'we're going to be in New York tonight' makes you wonder just how terrible they could be after a 4 hour flight. God, The Beach Boys in the 80's are such a fucking kitsch monstrosity. Poor Al and his cold, but LOOK AT THE STATE OF THEM. Also, I think the sheer act of rewriting Lady Lynda was a dick move, tbh. Shame on ye, Al. You're better than that. Pity that the camera wasn't focused on him when he sang it :( Title: Post by: zachrwolfe on May 24, 2013, 06:31:14 PM

Brian looks zombified. Title: Re: Farm Aid '86 (new videos on YouTube) Post by: Rocker on May 25, 2013, 05:15:13 AM I love "Rock'n'Roll to the rescue". Brian's studio vocal is one of his best in later years.

The original music video is also the best beach boys video to ever grace the internet, though Summer Of Love is very close http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKqd_9Xx9IQ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKqd_9Xx9IQ) Title: Re: Farm Aid '86 (new videos on YouTube) Post by: metal flake paint on May 29, 2013, 05:48:48 PM Help Me Rhonda:
