Kinda of a grim topic, I know. But I was just watching the 2012 Wembley footage and thinking about how great everyone looks and couldn't help but wonder how Dennis would look if he were alive and at least reasonably healthy for a guy as old as he'd be....  He'd be a damn good looking older chap, I'll bet.

I think he would pretty wrinkly because of all his drug abuse... kind of like Keith Richards

I've got just as much of a sense of humor as the next fella, but you know, there are personal friends and family of Dennis' who regularly post here, and it occurs to me that maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep this in mind sometimes before we post certain things.

Getting old is a b-tch but a blessing -- because the only known alternative is to die young.  They did just recently isolate the hormone/or something, in the brain that stimulates the aging process and are testing if they can slow the affects thereof.  Crazy.  If that were to ever come to pass though, everybody would be complaining about getting carded all the time.

If he had gotten clean and sober, he would probably look as good or better than Brian.   If he had survived but continued to abuse his mind and body, he would probably  look like a very tired and unkempt Keith Richards. 

What's with the 'what if Dennis was in The Walking Dead' photos? Surely a contender for creepiest thread ever.

I didn't see any offensive pics and I also don't think it's a distasteful subject. Once in a while I will see pics of Paul or Ringo and wonder what John would have looked like had he lived. Same with Dennis, especially whenever I hear "Forever" from the C50 tour, I always find myself wondering how Dennis and Carl would have fit into C50 had they lived and what they would have looked/sounded like.

Seems like a perfectly natural thing to speculate on.

"grim" or not, I think about where Dennis would be and what he would be doing quite often (a natural thing to do, I think, when listening to his band or him solo) .... I had three uncles who were just about as bad off as Dennis was in those last years and all three cleaned up in their 40's and are doing great, lookin' great today. I have no doubt Dennis could have done the same.... I never asked for or initiated any "Dennis as the walking dead" pics...

So, all us thoughtful and considerate fans,  let's drop this tasteless and creepy thread and get back to mercilessly bashing Mike, OK?

The "He ate my soul" reference was obviously pointing out that the "in20years" pic looks like a character from a movie, and not an implication that Dennis actually dines on people's souls.  :lol

Yes, it was a reference to Johns comment that the aged photo looks like a zombie, pretty obvious really.....

By the way Pixeltwin, where is your avator from?

Exactly. Humour is a very personal thing, and a lot of humour does rest on the uncomfortable side. And there are things I find offensive which I just keep quiet about, such as newbies with 15 posts under their belt calling for a thread to be deleted  :lol  (Just joking SBGirl, I'm sure you'll fit in here just great!!)

Why waste all of your time posting about this? Clearly, theres only one answer sufficient enough to describe what he may look like. sh*t. That's it, sh*t. He would look like a walking pile of dog sh*t. How about right before he died? Bloated, wrinkled and overall tired looking. 30 years later? I don't even want to know.

Brian looked like sh*t for quite some time, too. Like Brian, had Dennis received some help for his addiction I'd venture to guess he'd look good in old age.

Yeah, you can remember that when all the "honored guests" stop giving you no-class idiots the time of day.
