And I'm not a Fleet Foxes fan really at all, but yeah. Maybe Bruce will do an absurd accidental comedy duet with LL Cool J! That's just you. ;) If they weren't comfortable they wouldn't have done the interview like that. They did several interviews together, just the two of them, last year during the C50 tour. One in particular (done for a local radio station) I remember was far more lighthearted and relaxed. I'll try to find it on YouTube.Title: Re: Beach Boys Interview | Hay Bale Sessions | Bonnaroo365 Post by: Aegir on April 15, 2013, 03:38:15 PM Every reunion interview with Al ends with him saying something awkward... hahahaha.

"right-wing hick country music" Talking about me, assuming the country music is the old stuff, not the new horror. Right wing hick parts fits as stated. The stuff since like probably at least the '90s has just gotten more and more pathetic. Vince Gill put it well recently as to what's hip in the "country" world that Bruce loves: "You're hot. I'm hot. We're in a truck." Title: Re: Beach Boys Interview | Hay Bale Sessions | Bonnaroo365 Post by: Magic Transistor Radio on April 15, 2013, 08:05:59 PM The closest I get to country music are probably closer to folk. Songs like Big Sur, or John Denver have a bit of a country vibe but much better music IMO.

Al just seems very tired. Title: Re: Beach Boys Interview | Hay Bale Sessions | Bonnaroo365 Post by: Wah Wah Wah Ooooo on April 16, 2013, 04:49:02 AM This interview just further confirms for me that Bruce Johnston is an idiot. I know that's not very constructive, it's just that every time I read or see an interview with the man, that's what I take away from it. It's amazing to me that he's supposedly always been clean, drug-wise, because his brain is mush.
