Couldn't we just flush the Is Bruce an original member thread.  I think it was answered on the first page...  Beside, if you have to ask, should you even be here?

Sadly, most of the current threads would be flushed using that criteria

I'd rather those threads stayed than the 5 different threads talking about Mike Love being a arsecanoe and how The Beach Boys should only play casinos/The Albert Hall/your mums basement/never again etc. THOSE are the depressing wastes of space.

I think the thing is, and you see this in almost any forum, that there's a general mentality that a forum has to constantly be active, so people will fill up space however they can. But why does a forum always have to be active? What's wrong with lulls, even long ones?

It is a good point. Maybe we should have running threads on each individual Beach Boy.

It's purely selfish, but I mainly come here everyday to check the (non) status of the boxset (which I haven't given up on yet). I don't mind trawling through a few of the Rank The Tracks, but when the whole lot are there it is rather annoying

I know I add some silly posts, but my favourite reads are the deep, historical studio explorations put up by the likes of Craig and Donny et al. This site is a great resource.
