Title: Django Unchained theme song
Post by: SMiLE Brian on January 23, 2013, 03:21:04 AM
Great example of a modern 1960s style song with homages to the wall of sound, BW production, and the wrecking crew.

It is a 1960's song isn't it? I was under the impression it's the theme from the 1966 film "Django" (feel free to correct me). Either way I definitely enjoyed the song when first watching "Django Unchained", a good eclectic soundtrack overall.

Agreed, Leo was great in showing the duality of  the planter class of the old south. Part highly civilized, part barbaric.

Really funny movie.  The part where Samuel L. Jackson's character first appears and throws a fit for 15 minutes in the courtyard was some of Tarrantino's best stuff ever.
