Title: ML's "Beach boys medley" vs BW's "smart girls" Post by: joshferrell on November 07, 2012, 09:56:51 PM which is better or which is worse, Mikes "Beach Boys Medley" with the lyrics "Endless Summer Beach Band" throughout or Brians "Smart Girls"? both are pretty much similar except brians is more "rap" but basically they are the same concept...I like"smart Girls" only for the cool swooping flutes,but that's about it..your thoughts? (just fixed the title to represent the real title of the Mike Love song)

The work on the Medley from the early 80s could be put together on a tape recorder, except the tempo/vocal add on for Barbara Ann. Now here's the real question: which is the best/worst----BB Medley/Smart Girls/BB Medley with Here Comes the Night backing track from the late 70s I actually enjoy the latter the most ;) |
