Title: U.S. Singles Collection (Box Set) Digital Booklet - pdf Post by: sea of tunes on September 18, 2012, 09:47:44 AM So I recently purchased The SMiLE Sessions via HD Tracks and the purchase came with a Digital Booklet (.pdf)
I notice that on iTunes, the US Singles Collection comes with a Digital Booklet. Does anyone have a copy of this? I am trying to avoid purchasing this collection on iTunes because I already own it (physical copy). I would be happy to trade my SMiLE pdf for the US Singles pdf. Thanks Title: Re: U.S. Singles Collection (Box Set) Digital Booklet - pdf Post by: runnersdialzero on September 18, 2012, 10:07:31 AM y dont u just buy it u slackass. everyone in this country just wants a handout, usually in the form of illegal pdf files. u slackass.

On iTunes, the 2-disc version came with an awesome iTunes LP with Frank Holmes artwork. Perhaps you could try speaking in full sentences? At any rate, I think I stated up front I OWN THE BOX SET. I just would really prefer to not have to buy a digital copy for a pdf file. I hardly think this falls under the "something for free mentality" that I firmly agree with you on. Are you this knee jerk all the time in your life? You must be a prize to deal with. Uhmm.. well actually it did. Title: Re: U.S. Singles Collection (Box Set) Digital Booklet - pdf Post by: runnersdialzero on September 18, 2012, 10:55:03 AM I'm interested, too. I enjoy collecting these, if only to have them for quick reference as opposed to having to physically go obtain the item and to have all the artwork in high quality as opposed to scanning them.
Title: Re: U.S. Singles Collection (Box Set) Digital Booklet - pdf Post by: sea of tunes on September 18, 2012, 10:57:30 AM I do too, frankly. I like having the physical product on the shelf as a back up. But I like to be able to flip through a pdf file without having to turn pages. The SMiLE pdf is really nice. Just the booklet from the 2-CD box, but it's nice to not have to bend pages.
And it travels well on my phone to read through. I'm a nerd. Sue me. OP said they purchased them from HD Tracks, not iTunes... plus I wasn't aware that iTunes sells HD tracks. ??? @JManley Are you talking about the two disc LP? I thought it'd be extremely obvious that I was kidding with the poor spelling and the suggestion that Americans expect handouts in the form of illegal PDF files, but hay. ^_^ Title: Re: U.S. Singles Collection (Box Set) Digital Booklet - pdf Post by: sea of tunes on September 18, 2012, 12:22:54 PM I thought it'd be extremely obvious that I was kidding with the poor spelling and the suggestion that Americans expect handouts in the form of illegal PDF files, but hay. ^_^ I'm wound a little tight. No, HD Tracks download includes the pdf (well, mine did anyway). Another pleasant surprise about the HD Tracks download is that the kind of sloppy track start/stop times found on the CD's are fixed on the FLAC files. I think iTunes download has the iTunes LP that interacts with the playlist via iTunes only. I admit, it's not normal. :-D Title: Re: U.S. Singles Collection (Box Set) Digital Booklet - pdf Post by: Aegir on September 18, 2012, 12:28:52 PM I thought it'd be extremely obvious that I was kidding with the poor spelling and the suggestion that Americans expect handouts in the form of illegal PDF files, but hay. ^_^ for some reason I found this one way funnier than the original joke. |
