...Is it just me, or does the merchandise on this site seem a little pricier than usual?

No, it's not just you. I deal with eil.com quite often .. they are a little bit pricier than most, but I've managed to get hold of some great stuff on there  8)

i was thinking the same thing, how are things sold on here? like is it auction or antique store like? how are their objects obtained? are they stocked and re-issues?

It's just like an online store with a huge amount of stock. They use specialist collectors shops within their own site, btw.

The best thing is to have a good mooch around, it's suprising what you'll find  8)

eil.com is annoying.  They list hundreds of records at a time on Ebay at hugely inflated prices.  I find myself scrolling through page after page of their listings when searching for Beatles LPs.  It's the auction site equivalent of spam.

You've always got the choice to not buy them, but if there's that certain special something that you can't find anywhere else .. they'll more than likely have it.
