Would you like to shoot me now or wait til you get home?  As part of the Beach Boys' younger fandom and having friends my age who are also fans, I guarantee you that this is not desired by any of us.  In fact I find it incredibly demeaning that the suits at Brother think they can sell these guys.

hey guys.  glad to know this is a joke...right?  My grandson sent it to me this afternoon and asked me if I was a fan.  I gave him my entire collection of cds since i mainly still just play my records.  We started talking about this because he told me he thought the girl beach boy was "smokin'" hahaha.  I was like, "what?!?"  But rumor has it that they do have a new Beach Boys coming out at the end of this year.

Do you mean the California Saga band?  It's a real thing and it's more of an extension of the group than a replacement but I think that might be what you've heard about.  From what I've heard, they actually sound fantastic.

Aye, whilst there's no way California Saga should 'be' the Beach Boys in the future, they do sound pretty amazing.
