Weird that this stalker was adamant about filming them walk off the plane and into the station...but cool because we get to see the band traveling as a band. Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: Zach95 on August 18, 2012, 11:08:23 AM Why did that one guy get grabbed by the security guard and practically thrown out of the way?
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: Autotune on August 18, 2012, 12:19:44 PM Why did that one guy get grabbed by the security guard and practically thrown out of the way? He kept him from walking accross Brian's way, just like I would have done. Who's Brian's assistant anyway? Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: SG7 on August 18, 2012, 01:22:06 PM Wow the guy following them seems like an idiot.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: acedecade75 on August 18, 2012, 01:24:38 PM The guy next to Mike Love that yelled at the camera was Tim Bonhomme.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: Wah Wah Wah Ooooo on August 18, 2012, 01:36:47 PM Pretty rude to keep filming after they were asked not to.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: Mike's Beard on August 18, 2012, 01:53:38 PM What does BRI pay it's security with, Big Macs?
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: stack-o-tracks on August 18, 2012, 01:57:45 PM Pretty rude to keep filming after they were asked not to. The paparazzo-type people are generally scumbags. watch an episode of that tmz show and you'll understand. they make money stalking then harassing celebrities and selling their photos to gossip rags. the kind of people you should be able to use a taser on. i love how the beach boys have hired the rounded people possible to block brian from the camera's view. :40 seconds in. Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: STE on August 18, 2012, 02:00:49 PM Afaik, that guy is not really security, just a member of the stage crew. It was quite an uncomfortable video to watch. Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: EgoHanger1966 on August 18, 2012, 03:06:01 PM Well, you know I hate to be a downer...but the sleezeball paparazzi guy was right - it is a public place. Not that I'd want to have a camera shoved in my face, but these guys are still celebrities and that's all part of it. It's not like the guy was harassing them for autographs or asking them inane questions.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: Mike's Beard on August 18, 2012, 04:00:15 PM Notice they kept a respectful distance from Bruce. No one likes a pistol whippin'.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: urbanite on August 18, 2012, 04:00:23 PM I'm impressed that they take the train and seem to do it with minimal staff. You think of rock stars and limousines and people falling all over to cater to their needs. The video of Brian walking was disturbing as he seemed to struggle with 30 steps.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: Wah Wah Wah Ooooo on August 18, 2012, 04:14:08 PM Notice they kept a respectful distance from Bruce. No one likes a pistol whippin'. Well he'd probably tell them to f*** off and turn it into some nonsensical political rant. Bruce H. Johnston is one weird dude. Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: PaulTMA on August 18, 2012, 04:53:23 PM Wow the guy following them seems like an idiot. He seems more like a bit of a dick, imo Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: Wah Wah Wah Ooooo on August 18, 2012, 05:03:00 PM yeah I just can't get over a grown ass man following the guys around with a camera, and then continuing after he's asked to stop. Dick is a good word for that. Loser also comes to mind.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: clinikillz on August 18, 2012, 05:19:19 PM Brian's always wearing jogging pants. Sorry, just a random observation.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: Jukka on August 18, 2012, 06:19:36 PM Not cool.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: stack-o-tracks on August 18, 2012, 06:26:49 PM hey they may not be considered fashionable, but they're very comfortable. Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: Shady on August 18, 2012, 07:19:01 PM I'm impressed that they take the train and seem to do it with minimal staff. You think of rock stars and limousines and people falling all over to cater to their needs. The video of Brian walking was disturbing as he seemed to struggle with 30 steps. It's a pretty luxurious train and they are sitting in the VIP section and probably have cars waiting.. It is interesting to see Brian taking a rest right after getting off a train ride. Maybe he was told to Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: PhilCohen on August 19, 2012, 07:35:29 AM Brian seems to have difficulty walking. He's shuffling along, taking very small steps. He seems frail. Is it arthritis?
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: Andrew G. Doe on August 19, 2012, 07:56:01 AM He's 70, somewhat overweight and has had a (well-publicised) back problem for several years. Not arcane info.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: PhilCohen on August 19, 2012, 08:30:41 AM Another new Beach Boys album seems likely(whether it's some of the 16 outtakes from "That's Why God Made The Radio", or all all-new effort) and there would likely be some tour dates to promote it, but after that, Melinda & the other people surrounding Brian should finally let Brian go back to being a studio-only artist. For Brian's handlers, he's the goose who lays golden records, but it wouldn't be good for Brian's career to conclude as a touring performer singing from a wheelchair.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: Autotune on August 19, 2012, 08:34:55 AM We don't really know, do we?
He has walked with some difficulty for years. Perhaps it's disc hernia and he needs back surgery. Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: send me a picture and i'll tell you on August 20, 2012, 10:39:57 AM That leer Mike gives the cameraman from the escalator is badass beyond words.
Title: Re: Beach Boys security means business Post by: smyleysmyle on August 20, 2012, 03:33:10 PM I posted a comment also, and it was deleted. Not only that, he blocked me completely from posting comments to it. Typical low-life paparazzi.
