THE organisers of T in the Park are set to add a new 8000 capacity arena to this year's festival. The Pet Sounds Arena - named after the seminal Beach Boys album - will replace the 2000 capacity X-Tent at the sold-out event, which takes place on July 8 and 9 at Balado near Kinross. Among the bands appearing at the new arena are Sigur Ros, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Ben Harper. I wonder if inside the place there will be an explanation of the name? If so i'm sure a lot more peole might be turned on to the Beach Boys.
