Title: Capitol Records Post by: The Shift on July 13, 2012, 02:26:35 AM Just been to the Capitol Records site...
Can anyone explain why the Beach Boys aren't listed as Capitol artists? Is it cos they're Brother artists and Capitol just handles distribution? It's puzzled me for many a year, but now they're reestablished as a top touring and current chart act, I find it more than just a serious oversight. I don't have it front of me, but I don't remember seeing the Brother Logo on the book or the CD.

Any advice on which would be a good place to start? :-\ Title: Re: Capitol Records Post by: drbeachboy on July 17, 2012, 04:13:44 AM I wonder if they receive aother contract for 2 or more new releases that they would be added to the roster of artists? This current contract only called for one new and two compilation type releases.
