Title: SIAP: Murry's Will. Post by: Firemellow on June 29, 2012, 03:24:09 PM Did as thorough of a search as possible but came up with no hits. Since we're looking at his letter to Brian, I stumbled across this gem on the Hard Rock Memorabilia site. Damn, that is one cold document:

Post by: ontor pertawst on June 29, 2012, 03:42:12 PM "I do hereby swear that because of over-developed inbred emotions of motherhood instilled in my wife's mind, that she was too lax, too indulgent, too soft, too coveting, and did encourage each and every one of my sons to believe that I was an unfit father, using tactics of: insult, fear "that their father would punish them", ridicule, uncooperation in handling of the education of our children, and refusing to be firm with them when they would take advantage of either or both of us as parents." Further by all of my wife's overt and open acts of ebullient defiance in front o family talks and conferences, nothing I could say or try to say would convince my sons that hey were incorrect when they disobeyed, because they felt that their mother would take their defense on almost every occasion, and so nothing I could offer in the way of training of obedience, of respect, and yes even character was as effective as time went on..."
OVERT AND OPEN ACTS OF EBULLIENT DEFIANCE. Good name for a track. Title: Re: SIAP: Murry's Will. Post by: KittyKat on June 29, 2012, 03:52:42 PM That was 1964. Was that the final document? Also, he says she's entitled to one half of Sea of Tunes. He later sold Sea of Tunes for a low price. Coincidence or not?

Post by: onkster on June 29, 2012, 05:30:38 PM Well, isn't the 8-page letter from '64 also? In that one, he complains nobody is as "good"/thorough at punishment as he is, yet here he's claiming Audree is building him up to be...well...the punisher he brags about being in the letter.
"Ebullient defiance"...yeah, how dare she? "Don't Back Down", indeed! Title: Re: SIAP: Murry's Will. Post by: SIP.FLAC on June 29, 2012, 05:31:27 PM Well, isn't the 8-page letter from '64 also? Hah: if he could get away with it, I bet Murry would have loved to have written a will that gets executed BEFORE he died! "Look! You have to obey me! It's right here in the will!!!" |
