Title: New Beach Boys Fan-Mix Compilation Post by: seltaeb1012002 on June 19, 2012, 09:29:14 AM Hey everyone,
So, after devoting many, many fan mixing hours to SMiLE A.D. 1 - 4 (and an aborted 5.0) I've decided to start my next fanmix project. The goal of this one is to create cool new mash-ups, extended versions (not in a HCTN album mix kind of way) a capellas, and more alternate dimension recordings, a la SMiLE AD. So far, I've started: Wouldn't It Be Nice (stereo mix - alternate vocal) Meant For You (a capella) Meant For You (extended mix) Lonely Days (extended mix) ..and a few others I'd rather keep as surprises. :smokin The reason I post this now is because I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or ideas for cool new stereo variations / mash-ups, etc. I'm all ears! That's actually not as crazy as I read it at first. Any more ideas? I started isolating Brian's vocal from Daddy Dear, but the rendition is so erratic that there's not much I can do with it in terms of remixing. Also started a stereo version of Teeter Totter Love, which seems like it could be promising.
