Title: What are you going to listen to on Brian's birthday? Post by: SamMcK on June 19, 2012, 04:33:02 AM Well after Macca's birthday it's almost Brian Wilson's 70th! I'm sure he'll be celebrating the big day with a nice big steak! ;D
To celebrate the big day what BB/Solo albums or songs will you be listening to in his honour? I was thinking about whipping up a couple CDs consisting of 70 songs from the Beach Boys, his solo albums, and some of his favorites he's mentioned. Just the other day I played Pet Sounds (stereo half), Smiley Smile / Wild Honey (2-fer) and Friends / 20-20 (2-fer) back to back. It made an interesting listen (especially the jump from PS to SS). Also I made a long 1500 mile road trip a few weeks back and listened to all 5 discs of The SMiLE Sessions all over again.
