Post by: Newguy562 on June 16, 2012, 05:37:09 PM I was in Albertson's(market) and I heard "still cruisin'" (the song) on the radio I was shocked..I totally sung the song the whole time I was getting food :) lol ..I can't believe that song was on the radio I was so suprised because it wasn't a hit at all, was it?
Title: Re: \ Post by: Wah Wah Wah Ooooo on June 16, 2012, 05:40:09 PM I guess it's a hit technically speaking if it charts at all, right? Wasn't it at like #96 or something...lol...clearly not a smash hit.
I heard "Slip on Through" on the radio in a store a few months ago...that's the most obscure BB tune I've heard in public for sure. Title: Re: \ Post by: Beach Boy on June 17, 2012, 12:12:54 AM In Austria the album "Still Cruisin'" peaked at 12 and the song even at 11, so sometimes you get to hear that song now and then.
Title: Re: \ Post by: Disney Boy (1985) on June 17, 2012, 12:20:18 AM Santa Ana Winds, of all songs, is on Radio 2 all the bloody time! As is Lady Lynda. Strange, strange choices...

I know Lady Lynda is, but it was a mild hit here. Santa Ana Winds, however... Title: Re: \ Post by: DonnyL on June 17, 2012, 12:42:07 AM Yeh, I'm not sure that qualifies as 'the radio' though. I hear 'Your Imagination' all the time in Walgreens in San Francisco.
I heard 'My World Fell Down' by Sagittarius at a thrift shop in Portland. Though I guessed it was on an employee's iPod or something. Working at Kroger I swear they played every track off of Stars & Stripes at least once. At another grocery store I worked at they occasionally played "Sail On, Sailor".
