Title: Everything I Need - versions Post by: Lonely Summer on May 24, 2012, 02:46:57 PM A friend gave me a cassette years ago of Wilson/Paley sessions, and there are two versions of Everything I Need on there. One has Brian and Wendy, the other has Brian, Wendy, and Carnie. Does anyone hear have the background on these sessions? I know there's some talk about it on the Brian Wilson as auteur thread, but I wanted to address this subject specifically. There's also a piano instrumental I don't recognize, and a version of Your Imagination with someone singing wordless vocals on the verses. I have no idea who that voice is, maybe Joe Thomas?

Heh...at a gathering of BB fans, I actually heard this conversation: GUY #1: I heard "Everything I Need" in such'n'such a store the other day. GUY #2: Really? Bootleg or non-bootleg version? GUY #1: Non-bootleg. GUY #2: Wilsons version or Foskett version? GUY #1: Wilsons version. Heh...
