Title: Fiction ("Fan" or not) Post by: OneEar/OneEye on May 05, 2012, 03:07:25 PM I hate the term "Fan Fiction" because it implies terrible things, and usually that's what it is, but there have been some good stories utilizing people/bands/whatever which have fallen under the umbrella of "fan fiction". I myself have been writing these for a while and have several I am quite pleased with currently. I have yet to share any of these with anyone, but may very well do so in the near future. One I am currently getting closer to finishing involves the beach Boys, the Four Seasons, and The DeCavalcante family of NJ.
Just wondering if there are any other writers out there (on here) that partake in this guilty pleasure, and if so, is there help for this affliction, or am I doomed? Title: Re: Fiction (\ Post by: SMiLE Brian on May 05, 2012, 03:21:12 PM I find fan fiction about smile really interesting.
Title: Re: Fiction (\ Post by: hypehat on May 05, 2012, 05:46:40 PM I did write a short story about the Tupac Hologram for no reason other than me and my mate were joking about how he/it would find it immensely difficult to adjust to the world in 2012.....
Title: Re: Fiction (\ Post by: onkster on May 07, 2012, 05:10:18 PM Well, I did write this really weird piece about a nonexistent Chicago XII album, which I started writing in 1980, then rewrote/finished last year.
Somebody on this board liked it! But I don't think anybody else read it! http://chicagoxii.blogspot.com/ Title: Re: Fiction (\ Post by: SMiLE Brian on May 07, 2012, 10:01:03 PM Well, I did write this really weird piece about a nonexistent Chicago XII album, which I started writing in 1980, then rewrote/finished last year. I read it, it was great. 8)Somebody on this board liked it! I wrote a ton of stuff but a lot of it remains unseen. I guess there just isn't an interest with them as say Beatles or Monkees fan fic?
