i bought it today...sounds great. not sure if it will be a hit but it does sound great.

If it debuted at 93 in Japan, I can assure you it debuted higher than that in the US. 

I am not aware of how to start a thread and too new to presume to do so, but may I raise a question here that I hope some bibliographer, one of our leaders on this site, can properly direct.

Will the BB be singing TWG. .  on the Jimmy Fallon show on Monday, and will that propel it to a kind of chart oriented  popularity it has not yet achieved.

I have not see discussion of the upcoming appearance yet on the board; does it merit a thread?

Yes, I guess they will be performing the new single. Anyone familiar with the proceedings of the show? Do they get to play only one tune, or maybe two (or three)?

I think it will chart here come tuesday, it sold pretty well on amazon.  My guess?  #63.

Gently ease it is!  So much happening: listening to youtube clips, listening over and over and reading over and over the Walmart Zine, listening to TWG over and over, likely 300 times so far, as many of you have, waiting for BB on late-nite Monday, etc.  This is all too much.

QVC is going to sell the actual album on an 800 # on May 16?; so if you ordered it on Amazon for June 5?  I am happy to buy it in both fora if it helps the BB cause.

I hope Jimmy Fallon says "get this song now and let's make it a big hit for our BB!"

I should also say I have listened to TWG in every concert clip and it appears to go over big, but I see a raging discussion everywhere as to whether too many voices are trying to help Brian or if he is autoimmune or autotunes, or spooned in June or something--this is mind-numbing; but can we analyze whether the parts are going well in life performance?  The bottom and middle sound strong (Mike, Al, Bruce), but I keep hearing the top as too screechy  and off key: is that Brian and Jeff trying for too much? I can only hope we get a vibrant, direct and tuneful version when millions are watching on TV; we need some crackerjack sound men for that performance--and Leno too next month.

It'll definitely be online. A lot of late night TV shows have official channels for performances.

I think not to release TWGMTR as a CD single as soon as the video was online was/is a missed opportunity. I'm afraid that now it won't sell that much. But hopefully I'm wrong

Nothing on the charts yet. Though the Greatest Hits Volume 1 has re-entered the albums chart at 161, and the Catalog Albums chart at 26.
