There are a few articles out today about Sean Lennon's desire for a girl. 
His requirements are very high and sure don't sound like John & Yoko.

John Lennon's son Sean wants a girlfriend for the New Year.

The songwriter claims he is "completely miserable" and wants a beautiful woman who has a high IQ, is honest and between the ages of 18 and 45.

The 30-year-old also quipped she must have no psychological disorders or deformities.

He told America's New York Post newspaper: "Any girl who is interested must simply be born female and between the ages of 18 and 45", "They must have an IQ above 130 and they must be honest. They must not have any clinical, psychological disorders and a kind heart. Clearly beautiful - but beauty on the inside is more important - but no deformities, third legs, fifth nipples.

"I'm completely alone and I'm completely miserable."

Sounds like he should

1.  see a shrink

2.  visit with other children of celebraties to see how they sorted out real companions from those who wanted to get next to their parents, dead or alive

otherwise one could end up marrying  nicholas cage

Sounds like he's been taking advice from Mama and her team of lawyer/space cadets.

That would mess up any man's head.

It must be great to be famous and have the ability to use the media as a dating service. What happened to people going out looking for someone themselves? There's not one woman with a high IQ who will answer his callings there. They're too busy getting real people.

Has anyone ever given a thought to the fact that Sean must have the softest hands in the world?

His wants are too much. The only thing he really needs is a woman with a good, kind heart. Intelligence, IQ, knowledge is nothing in comparison to a genuinly good person.

Maybe if he got off his ass and released a new album instead of being the world's most famous talking head, some chicks would dig him. Plus last I saw him he looked like he hadn't bathed in a week... granted this made him look even more like his dad circa 1968.

I do like the guy though. He almost said in one of the BBoys Docu''s that they trumped all over the Beatles.

I love "Queue" - from his (only real) album.  I think it's a brilliant piece of Beach Boys pastiche, right up there with The High Llamas.

i'm 44 and had princesses all my life until now. i was under the "if yer a highly creative, alt musician, you always need spectacular eye candy on yer arm, the younger the better" misconception. i was miserable through 3 marriages, 7 live-in screws, and so many gf's i can't remember a third of their names. sex was all about fun so no kids. thank god. i know what sean is talking about. it sux when you prefer to share. i finally got out of the music orbit and met a "normal and grounded" woman who is only 7 years younger than me. this time its for keeps and for the first time in my life, i'm happy.

I actually feel bad for Sean Lennon alot. Do you realize that he cannot eve nsit down at a piano without thinking, "Well i've got to write something that shows none of my Dad's influence." Otherwise he'll be torn apart. Obviously he's a very musical person and knows his stuff but he's in a sticky situation having the big Lemon as his Poppa.

It's funny how people will tear him apart, as you say.  I agree.  But if anyone should show his dad's influence, it should be him (and Julian).

I Enjoyed Sean's Into The Sun album, but he does have a terribly weak voice.

His album is fantastic, but his voice isn't so good. The songs are really awesome though. Layered and well played.  Its like a heavier Friends album, check out the song Happiness, its easily something Brian could have done in 68...
