This is so cool.  The frickin' Beach Boys (as close as we can possibly get) are playing somewhere almost every night for the next few months.  I really, REALLY hope you guys in the UK get some shows.

I showed my wife the pic of Stamos at Jazz Fest and all I've heard all day is "Any news if he'll be at Chastain?"

If he shows up in SoCal, I might sell my tickets

Stamos is almost 50. He's worked for the last 15 years or so in many different things. And yet Mike keeps bringing the references of Full House back. I'm sure this is annoying and funny to him. And that Mike finds these corny references very humorous. Like when he threatened the audiences with a Barry Manilow medley from Bruce.
I ended up liking Stamos. He's a loyal fan, does not take himself seriously and respects the band.

We've been to probably 25-30 BB concerts about 2/3 without Stamos. When he is there, they don't concentrate on the music. It's more scattered and unfocused. His energy doesn't fit in. This is TBB not TBBand Stamos

And I've been to quite a few shows when they were not on top of it without Stamos. What is their excuse for those shows?

Stamos was with the band a couple of times when I saw them at the Puyallup Fair, and I did not feel it detracted from the music. But it is kind of funny, I was looking up at the stage thinking "there he is, the guy  I see on tv every week, a real live celebrity.." well, duh! Like the BB's are not celebrities, living legends? Funny how the mind works....mine, at least.... on the occasions it IS working  :lol

Will he be following the boys out of Europe because over here I don't think people know who he is (including me)?

I think Mike gave a great interview there. Laid back, genuine, and gracious.

Take a listen to some of the audience comments. I'm starting to feel sorry for the guy! ;D

That's the spirit! Give these wussies and sissies here a ride! SSnet has become an OAP board where youthful reminiscing (sometimes with holes the size of the moon in it) has become the order of the day...

...BTW, what show was Stamus on again?  ???

I'd just like to point out that in my life at least, you seldom see the combination of words "fingers crossed for Stamos." I'd like to thank this thread for introducing me to the concept.
