The one that sold for $117.50 US? I was hoping to win that for $4.99!!( instead of that Swedish fellow who did win)

Wise words For Mr. Manning:

Don't EVER tell Bgas you're going to bid on a Beach Boys record on Ebay. He'll beat you to the punch!

Heck, I bid on practically every copy of Candix that comes up, but I'm rarely in for more than $10. (I figure to start scoring more copies when everyone else finally gets them/ when I'm 95)
I would  be VERY happy to buy any/all of the Dave and The Marksmen 45s anyone wants to sell. ( which I haven't seen on Ebay since forever)

I don't think so.   Why would you waste your time?  You know what they're going for.

Never know when I'll win something; I'm on Ebay alot anyway, might as well be bidding. The more yu bid the better chance of winning; isn't that how it works?

I've dipped my toe in the water and found it's too hot - $117????!!!!!  I can buy Sierra a big big Wendy house for that or a lot of fresh nappies for wee Jack the Lad! I know for a fact I can as I've been told so, after being caught bidding on "unnecessary indulgences" by The Dissenter.

And many thanks for the warning Mikie; that was exceptionally naive of me to post about bidding on something but I learned a lesson - and I'll make sure I push all bgas's auctions sooooooooooo high then pull out before the final bidding war!

Ahh, best to watch out there John,  I 'm told the pull-out technique often has less than desirable results
