Title: GRAMMY Reunion performance available on iTunes
Post by: Awesoman on April 16, 2012, 12:03:21 PM
Video of the GRAMMY performance has been made available on iTunes:

http://itunes.apple.com/us/music-video/medley-surfer-girl-wouldnt/id504074645

Go nuts.

Thanks.
Well I guess that sorta explains Brian's FB posting the question if we all "use Itunes?"

Actually I think this video has been up for some time now.  I just stumbled upon it.  As to what BW's Facebook is implying about iTunes, I have no clue.

Three reviews thus far, all about Maroon 5 and Foster The People.

That's some good thumbnailin' there, Apple.

The quality of those screenshots from 45+ year old video is pretty spectacular, but if they're from the "official" Ed Sullivan library I guess it would be...are these what Apple used for the 2012 Grammy video?

You know what.

F*ck my life, growing up in an era where people don't know who PAUL F*CKING MCCARTNEY IS!?!?!?!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?

Is it just me?

The Beach Boys Grammys vid doesn't seem to be available from the UK store.

The Beach Boys don't seem to be touring the UK.

Beach Boy Al Jardine (are we allowed to call him that now?) doesn't seem to have his new CD available in the UK.

The Beach Boys' forthcoming album doesn't seem to be available for pre-purchase in the UK.

What did we collective Brits do to p*ss off the BB's in 2012?  All I want to do is spend some money in their direction…

Or, like I say, is it just me?   If I was being PC about it, I'd smell a conspiracy…

Oh come on.  They probably know tons of stuff you don't know, and you know tons of stuff they don't know.

Believe it or not, people outside your generation aren't all unintelligent.

They probably haven't gotten their stuff together yet, I'm sure they won't leave the UK out.  Now you know how we all felt when Brian kept going to the the UK to premier everything cool.

I was more commenting about the goofy ass expressions they chose for all three thumbnails, the first two in particular - sorry.

S'okay, I'm just having a wee sulk.

On the subject of debuts though, I think his only uk debuts were BWPS and TLOS. He'd toured PS around the US with symphony orchestras two years - only no-one seemed to notice - before he brought the toned down version here to rapturous acclaim - at the Hollywood Bowl gig I attended a good third of the seats were empty. In his hometown...!

Now I'm off to the pub to sulk some more... If I can find one open at 8am...

Thanks.  Cool to own, though after purchasing it, I realized it wasn't in HD, which sucks.  Come on, Grammy people... get with it.

Try your friendly local Wetherspoons John, they normally open really early to take full advantage of alcoholics.

DISCLAIMER - I am in no way suggesting that John is an alcoholic... :beer

Such grand advice… how did you come across that bit of useful knowledge?
