   Unfortunately I cannot make it down to Tennessee this year and I'm kicking myself for that. However, do any of you think that the BB's will be professionally filmed performing at the festival? Somebody needs to make that happen.

It's really possible the festival will be streamed on youtube Live like Coachella is this year..

I know the fest has a lot of drug usage that goes with it so maybe they'll perform some pretty hip tunes to turn on those young hipsters.

I hope their Bonaroo appearance turns out to be succesful and well-received. Could mean a couple thousand more sold TWGMTR sales / downloads.

I'm just saying, this set list will not fly at the festival. It better not be like the Jazz Fest's set list.

I don't know. But you can't go wrong with the songs they played. In just a matter of seconds everybody will stand up for these songs and not sit down until the show is over....

Alright, fair enough, even though your sarcasm is obnoxious.

I'm just saying, and this is coming from a young Bonaroo-kind of guy  ::), that a deeper set list would be in order for the festival. Do you think if they play Don't Back Down, Why Do Fools Fall In Love, or Kokomo that they'll go crazy like they did at Glastonbury? I suppose they might, and I'm saying nothing about those songs (2 of three which are great) except that I would like the Beach Boys to be in line with groups like Radiohead and Bon Iver, which I know they could do at this festival.

Well, I'd love to see them go deeper into their catalogue, even doing "This whole world" and other "obscure" songs. But we know what Mike and Bruce usually do at open air concerts and the last week didn't give any reason to think they would change anything for Bonarroo. More Smile songs would be nice though and certainly get a great reception with the audience

BTW The tour dates on the BBs' facebook page mentions June 9th & 10th. Which performance will be broadcasted ? Both ?

Translation:  you want the Beach Boys to be in line with the indie "hip" snobs that can't handle a little "Surfin' USA" but instead need to hear "Wind Chimes" in order to justify that The Beach Boys are "cool."

They don't need to impress anybody, but it would be cool to have a deep setlist at bonarroo.

Wow, you know, I really don't understand why everyone needs to be so obnoxious and insulting. So I think a few deeper cuts would go well with the crowd there? Big deal! Lay off man.

What's the crime with shifting the attention to the bands unfairly unappreciated material when there is an audience there which would be really receptive of it?

Or playing stuff that is widely appreciated (and loved !) and just recently was a big hit yet didn't really get the attention from the band on this tour -> Smile
That album alone has a bigger legacy than other bands can build in a whole carreer

Doing the Pet Sounds album or smile selections would be awesome for this show. Or just do Love You to confuse the hipsters. ;D

Did anyone else wonder about this note in the WalMart ZinePak concert listing for the June 10 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival?

I haven't seen mention of this in the news release or elsewhere.
