Title: SMiLE AD: Fan-Mixer Toolkit
Post by: seltaeb1012002 on March 12, 2012, 06:41:35 PM
Hey folks,

Here's the SMiLE AD Fan-Mixer Toolkit I promised a while back.

I recently moved to a new computer and I tried to keep my files intact during the switch, but inevitably stuff wound up all over the place. So, I couldn't do complete session breakdowns. However, I did find most of the .wav files I used while making these fan-mixes.

Quick rundown of what's in here:

*BWPS isolations
*Barnyard isolations
*I'm In Great Shape isolation
*Wonderful isolation
*Other extractions and soundbites used in the SMiLE AD series

Any further requests, just let me know and I'll try to make it happen!

Best,
J

Awesome. I've been having to deal with copy + paste in Audition for awhile now. Should make things much easier, thanks a lot.

No problem.

By the way, just to clarify, this set is mainly just vocal extraction stuff, as well as some of my "re-imagined vocals" isolated for those who want to hear. You will most definitely need to use your copy of The Smile Sessions box set for 99% of your mix. I wouldn't say it's gonna save you time on copying and pasting as much as it will save you from having to manually extract a lot of vocals.

I misspoke. I certainly understood what this was and what I could use it for. Thanks again.

What perfect timing!  I just started working on my Barnyard/OMP link joining Worms with Cabinessence.
The vocal extractions will be absolutely indispensable - thanks so much!

Does the file include the extractions of the 5.1 mix of SU?

If anyone has any leads on an updated and stereo re-make of the Anne Wallace SU, I would Pretty Much be eternally grateful.
