Sorry, felt bored so I thought I'd start a random, meaningless thread that will hover annoyingly on this board for a week.

Lennon would take Dennis. It would be a bloody match though.
I think Paul would start off well until Brian's fire was lit. Then I think it would be like watching a bear tear into a hyena.
George would take care of Carl pretty quickly.
Ringo and Mike would be a good match, but ultimately Ringo would win. This would also be a bloody one.
George Martin would take Al with the greatest of ease. "Go for the mouth George!!!!"

well Yoko has the power of "shreiking" so she would blow melinda out of the water with her high pitched sound that would burst her head open..George would meditate and not fight BUT he may have the power of levitation or the power to move things with his mind (ala Jedi moves) I don't see Carl really having any kind of powers so IF George evolved those powers he would win,if not he would just be sitting there meditating and would get his ass wooped..Well Dennis would have a surf board in his hand and surf boards hurt when they bash someone in the face BUT Lennon has the secret power of Yokos "Shreiking" so yeah it would be a bloody fight,I think it would be pretty close,with Dennis barely winning...Geroge Martin is an old man so I'm sure Al could take care of him *Even though Al could be considered an "Old Man" as well,he's just not as old...Ringo would have to suffer from Mikes power of "shiney forehead" all he has to do is take his hat off and any Foe would be blinded,but at the same time Ringo knows how to use his drumsticks as weapons,so if he can cover his eyes he would win easly..now Paul and Brian would have to fight with their bass guitars,I'm sure they would be decked out with various weapons,I can imagine Brian having a flame thrower on his so he could light his ciggerretes with,while paul would have a chain saw to cut his vegatables up,I think if Paul keeps from being burned to a char he would win,but if he doesn't then he will end up Brians celebration dinner after the fight...

Could Mike out BS Lennon?  That's a toughie.  May have to go with the Beatle on that one.
Could Mike out-levitate George?  Could be a tie.

I think Jack Reiley could easily take Leggy Mountbatten. Ricky Fataar and Stig O'Hara would be a draw, though.

Brian wouldn't stand a chance, because he needs one hand to protect his soul.

All you have to do to Mike Love to turn him into a fighting machine that would make Bruce Lee think twice is to give him his apple juice. It'd be a massacre. You just need to harness the suppressed rage that forty five years of mediation has given him.

Apart from Mike and Dennis, the beach boys are puny chubby fools. The Beatles, having grown up in Liverpool streets and getting into a fair few scraps etc. except Paul, another wuss.

I say Bruce vs. Bruce due to his split personality.

A misconception. McCartney once beat up Stu Sutcliffe on stage in Hamburg. He also punched Wings guitarist Jimmy McCulloch backstage (knocking him out no less) for refusing to play an encore. He survived jail time in Japan without a scratch on him. Hell, he probably beat up Denny Laine once or twice for all I know. The man is a lot more hardened and ruthless than he comes off in public appearances. "Ram On" indeed!

Have to chime in on this. No way could John Lennon take ANY of the Beach Boys. Even Bruce could probably beat up Lennon. I don't think Lennon had any athletic ability at all. 

Of course, Dennis could easily beat up any of the Beatles. It wouldn't even be a contest.

A showdown between Murray and Brian Epstein? It would be a bloodbath. Murray beats up Epstein, the rest of The Beatles and The Beach Boys for good measure...afterwards he sits alone in the ring and tunes in an easy listening radio station and cries like a baby.   

Didn't Dennis beat up Jim Morrison and some other dude at some club for interrupting whoever was performing during an encore?

No. He gave him a bloody nose. Beating up Bob Wooler was no accomplishment. That's like beating up Regis Philbin.

I originally pitted Lennon against Dennis as they were both hard basteds, and unpredictable to boot.

I think physically Dennis was stronger than Lennon but I think Lennon definitely had more of a fighter's instinct that would prove him the winner.

This is one funny topic, I'll tell you that. Just visualizing all the possibilities makes me laugh out loud,  Murry beating everybody up, everybody.  Lennon giving some guy a bloody nose. Dennis kicking Lennon's rear without breaking a sweat.  It's too much. I love it. Can't top any of the offerings.

Tag-team fight: Mike Love & Yoko Ono vs. David Marks & Pete Best

I misread that as 'tap dance fight' - I reckon Mike Love is a terrific tap dancer.

Things haven't been the same since Brian made Mike Love  and Van Dyke Parks have a tap dancing competition in 1966.

Every single member of the Beach Boys and the Beatles as well as George Martin, Murry Wilson and even Van Dyke Parks are fighting for their lives when just inside a house 20 feet away Brian is still asleep in dreamland.

I think Brian would be one of those awkward fighters who'd beat the hell out of somebody, because he's so large.  He's huge, look at any of the pictures, he makes everybody else in the band look like a midget. 

I think the biggest bad-ass out of either band would have been John.  He was legitimately an asshole in his early life, he got in bar fights all the time, etc.  So I think he'd fight dirty and not care if he hurt somebody badly.  Mike's an asshole too but he doesn't want to be, to him everything he does has logic to it, he wants to meditate to stay balanced, blah blah blah, John in his early days just didn't care and was a prick. 

So I'd pick John, unless you killed him or something.

I mean if it was in a ring, with rules, yeah, Johnny would win, but Jerry Lee is about as close to evil as you can get, and have people still like you.
