There's barely any good record stores left. If you turn the radio on it's easy to see why. You go north or south, or follow 80 east towards Tahoe or Sacramento and the music you hear gets exponentially better. Title: Re: Where Are They Now? If I remember correctly, in the Steven Gaines book it talked about her being pretty ill with cancer. But that was back in 1984-ish, right? Didn't she just pass away a few years ago? She must have had a very long battle.
