And how exactly does the Beach Boys situation in 2012 relate to 1967? Nobody in the general public remembers them not appearing at Monterey, anyway. Absolutely nothing will "make up" for them missing Monterey. It's great that the Beach Boys are playing Bonraroo but will it be able to now rewrite their history?
