Just wondering about the prices.?You got 5 BB, a ten piece back up band..probably a video tribute to Carl+ Dennis.. And mixing board guys nightmare.!. Reunion year probably means large halls..Plus concert promotion etc.The budget must be enormous.! Since no matter what the USA stock market says the economy here is NOT good. There is a huge payoff here but the pie is split so many ways.! I suspect there will be a tour sponsor and if the tour is a hit more dates will be added in USA..Any informed thoughts out there.?

Ticket prices in Germany (not many left, if at all) were between 40€ for bad seats and 100€ for front row seats. I got a 70€ ticket...

There were two price ranges for the tickets I bought for Mohegan Sun. $55 or $75.

I wonder if Nelson will be inviting fans to give band members a spare bed/floor space again????

Tickets are 55 to 75 dollars OK that seem reasonable.. How large is Mohegan Sun arena/hall.?

The casino gig is probably not a good indicator of overall tour pricing.  $90-$125 range is probably in the ballpark, though I'm just guessing here.

No, no exact sales stats.. But judging from the ticketmaster website there's not that much left.

Berlin, Block 403 with a friend of mine. Another friend and his wife are there as well but have much better seats.
I just hope that this isn't just people buying the tickets so they can sell them afterwards for more.

Brian toured with a dozen or so musicians and even more crew members and charged quite reasonable prices. Of course, his organization isn't known for compensating band members outrageously well. It's a part-time gig even when he tours, and he sometimes skips a year (a member or two held day jobs through much of the 2000s). His tours also don't make much (if any) money in the U.S.

But with the Beach Boys, when you add in the bigger halls that the group will be able to play and a slight premium on ticket prices, I think they will be able to clear overhead and then some. And yes, I expect sponsors / TV special / DVD release will add to the payout. Money does make the world go round.

I would be shocked if it's that high. Would expect at least some seats in the $65-75 range.

Maybe so.  I was thinking they might be bumped up closer to the Neil Young/Paul Simon tier, like "elder statesmen" prestige pricing with this tour. 

It's possible! Depends on the demand. Part of me wonders if the fact that Mike and Bruce (as TBB) and Brian have toured so consistently over the last decade would make it less of an event. But we'll see.

I can't believe they are going to play casinos. That's Mike & Bruce territory ( and sometimes Brian) but the full band? Maybe its a "rehearsal" show. I guess we will find out tomorrow. :-\

The Mohegan Sun Arena is a small arena...so it's not like a casino ballroom deal that other casinos have. I've seen many top acts there over the years including The Eagles,  Billy Joel, Springsteen, Bob Seger, The Who, Phil Collins, CSNY.

Mohegan Sun holds @10,000 people.  I paid around $90 a ticket after all of the random surcharges.

Smallest venue announced thus far is the PA one - about 4000.

Ah jeez.. BB Booked the Hollywood Bowl for June 2nd. Now this might be considered a prestigious gig but there are better places for them  to play.! One good thing is the very back seats are very cheap..! Were ill be if i go at all..I still cant believe all this is happening when im unemployed.!

I just checked Hollywood Bowl calender.They have a classical concert booked on the same day as BB date.Classical gig starts at 200PM.. Anybody thats been to the area KNOWS  traffic sucks on a good day.! 2 concerts on same day i cant imagine how bad traffic is gonna be..And yes i know you can park on Ventura Blvd + ride the bus to Bowl..!.

According to the Hollywood Bowl website, the June 2nd classical concert is in the Disney Concert Hall.  The Beach Boys are billed as playing the Hollywood Bowl that day, but (also according to the HB website) their 'opening night at the bowl' isn't until June 22nd.   ???

I checked the Chicago Theater website, and while tickets don't go on sale until Monday, they do list the prices (with fees and taxes)...$54.07 and $271.53.  Nothing in between.  I'd almost rather see them there than at Summerfest in Milwaukee, even though it's an extra hour drive (at least), and I hate driving in downtown Chicago.  Can't afford $271, but $54 is certainly in my price range.

That's probably referring to the start of the Bowl "season" or official concert series, meaning the Beach Boys is probably a rental or lease event.  Nothing to worry about.  Off the top of my head this may mean that they won't be running the Bowl shuttle service or allowing people to bring their own alcohol, but it should all become clear in time.

Where do you see $54.07??? Here's what I'm seeing:

Zone F: Balcony, rows F-T. $137
Zone C: Orchestra rows M-T. $274
Zone B: Orchestra, rows FF-PP and A-L. $296

For those prices, there'd better be costume changes, explosions, and finding a way to bring Dennis and Carl back to life!!

BTW, don't like to drive downtown? The CTA Red, Purple, Brown, Orange, and Green Lines all stop right outside the theater. Take Metra or Amtrak into the city and hop CTA. (If you're not coming into LaSalle Street Station, that's going to be a bit of a walk.) Or drive into one of the parkable neighborhoods on the North Side (usually Andersonville and Lincoln Square are easy to find parking) and take CTA to the theater. You'll save a ton of money on parking.

I was just about to post the same thing about prices and travel for the Chicago Theater show. I'm on the Chicago Theater Insiders mailing list and didn't get anything about the show in my email today, but they usually have pre-sales for every show, so anyone can pm me or something and I can pass the info along when I get it.

The prices LostArt posted were from TicketMaster, and they don't specify which section goes with which price. I am so excited about this, but $500 for me and the hubbs is going to be tough to swing, so I guess it will be the cheap seats for us  :'(

I was going to say the same thing about getting around the city though. There is no need to ever drive downtown. You can do a park and ride at one of the outer CTA stations, or park in one of the neighborhoods as 37!ws suggests. I live in Edgewater, the second northernmost neighborhood on the lake and there is plenty of parking here. Then take the red line down to the Lake stop and the theater is the first thing you see. I'd definitely be willing to help out anybody looking to make it out for the show, so just pm me or whatever.

Thanks Amanda, apparently there is a Chase Preferred Seating ticket allotment for the Chicago Theatre show...if you get an email with a password or directions could you please let us know? 

Yep, I'll pass along any info I get. I think that Chase Preferred Seating is if you buy tickets with a Chase Freedom or Sapphire card, but I'll see what I can find out.

Tickets are going to be pricey because David Marks is such a money grubbing asshole as has been confirmed by various sources. Look at the way he was grinning backstage at the Grammys! It's the smile of someone knowing they're going to clear out your bank account.  >:(

WOW..Rent the bowl..Whew.!  Thats some SERIOUS deposit required there.! LOL.!

You guys shouldn't feel bad if you can't afford the pricey seats, one of the best concerts I ever went to was Billy Joel and Elton John, I bought a 20 dollar ticket off a scalper in the parking lot and sat up in the rafters, it was awesome. 

So if you can't afford the crazy prices, don't feel bad if you're in the nosebleeds, there's still lots of good music up there too. 

Personally I won't go if the cheapest seat is 137 bucks, that's insane!

Beacon Theater holds 2800.  I'm definitely going to try to get tickets there - it's among my favorite venues.

Internet presale from TicketMaster for the Chicago Theater show starts tomorrow at 10:00 am CST. I'm not sure if you have to be a Chicago Theater Insider for that, but I'm pretty sure all you have to do is register your email address, so even if you do it's not like it's some huge inconvenience. Good thing Fridays are my off days! Buying these tickets is going to put a smile on my face that may take weeks get off.

I suspect they're tracking orders by giving different passwords for different mailing lists; "smile" was the one listed from the promoter -  Chicago's "Jam Productions". Both passwords will probably work, although I'm trying to figure out what the "HC" stands for ("High Cost"?!).

I imagine that's probably the case, using different passwords to track the source. When I got the emailed I was racking my brain to figure out what HC stood for. At this point "high cost" seems like a really plausible guess. Maybe it's "Hi-C" and we're all going to get free punch!

I just called the Chicago Theatre to ask about the prices for each seating level.  They claim they don't know any more than we do.  $40.00 - $250.00 is the range.  My girlfriend is going to buy my ticket for my birthday and said she would spend $250.00 on me, but I don't think I could ask her to spend that much.  What should I do?  She said she won't go with me if I got a $250.00 ticket and I would like her to be with me at the show.  But do I pass up a killer seat?

I just hope that the G8 Summit doesn't ruin the show, because it could.  Be prepared for this show to be re-scheduled or possibly cancelled in a worse case scenario. :(

If she wants to go, and you're sure she does, just get the cheap seats.  Won't change a thing, you'll see everything on the screens anyways.  The sound will be the same.  You just won't be able to tell if Mike has any steak stuck in his teeth. 

I was excited to see that the first gig of the tour was about 15 miles from home...until I found the tickets listed at US$93-115 for the lawn and US$117 for the seating area. Sheeeee-it!

My girlfriend does get annoyed with the BB very easily, but loves Good Vibrations and has always loved Vega-Tables, after hearing it on Dr. Demento's radio show many years ago. :lol

However, she does enjoy a good live performance, so she wouldn't mind going.  I don't really have a problem going to concerts alone.  I've done it many times and I always have a great time meeting new people.  Plus I set my own schedule and come and go as I please.

Get a new one !!

Yep, I've been trying since exactly 10:00am, with both promo codes and nada. I just called the box office and they said to keep trying, because sometimes it doesn't work right away  ::)

I guess I was so excited this morning for nothing. If it helps anyone, they did have more detailed pricing info. Price levels are: $40, $60, $100, $150 and $250. I was about to be all over those $60 seats, I'm gonna keep trying for a little bit here. I'll post if I get through.

I ended up getting a $160 ticket...but I was completely ready to get a $270 to be up front.  They were all gone at 10am.  I asked VIP nation specifically if they completely reserved the front for their packages and they said no..they'd be availalbe to other markets as well.  Well, how many seats did they leave exactly?? 2?  

I was thinking the same thing, Jimmy.  My girlfriend will be coming with me to the Berkeley concert, and I know she won't be interested in getting near Mike Love.* We will probably see Kokono there peering through a hole in the fence because he's too cheap to buy a ticket or is afraid that his girlfriend will get too close to Mike.

* Unless we do the meet-and-greet thing, then I'll bring my 'Love-B-Gone' spray to fend him off.

I'm in! First row of the balcony, right side, for $60/ticket. Although it took a half hour off my life, I'm sure I won't regret it.

I ended up getting a better seat myself so now I have an extra ticket for the show...I'm going to try and sell it here on the board first before going to cragislist/Ebay...if you know anyone who'd be interested in it, let me know!

I was also struggling to get anything to pop up.  I tried looking for 1 ticket and that worked so I knew the tickets were selling, just had to get in.  Finally started seeing some come up.  I almost pulled the trigger on Floor seats, Row G but I threw them back and started to regret it.  I also had Box V which is on the side but closer than the balcony, but I decided to keep looking.  After 35 grueling minutes I'm in Row F, just off center in Sec 3R in the first two seats on the aisle.  That works for me.  It's 24 rows back if you count the pit.  I've always sat in the Mezzanine Boxes there so I wanted to get closer this time.  Girlfriend picked up the tab on this one too. ;D

I think for Milwaukee I'm just going to do my old trick of walking up the day of the show.  It always works with amazing results.

They could easily add more shows in Chicago since they have most of the week off before the Vegas show.  But as I said, the G8 Summit in Chicago that day could force our show to be postponed if things are really bad in the streets.

Oh, eff...that's the G8 summit day?!?!!? CRAP!!!! A few of us where I work are actually planning to work at home that day and the next just to keep ourselves safe...yeah, I'm probably not going to buy tickets after all...this'll be a good excuse to check out SummerFest.

Heh...a non-fan friend of mine was able to get tickets. I tried to but couldn't. (UPDATE: heard back from the non-fan friend. Told me how he got through, and so did I...but I didn't get the tickets.)

There are loads of cheap Berlin tickets left but not many top price tickets. Need to get money together and buy some.

It could - my son goes to school in downtown Chicago, and they cancelled his classes for that entire week already.

It seems Stubhub have already absorbed about 167 tickets just on the main floor for the Chicago Theatre show.  Top seat going for $899

And it's official...they've now added a second Chicago show on 5/22.
