Title: Recordings featuring a sole vocal from Brian
Post by: Rocky Raccoon on February 13, 2012, 06:38:40 AM
And I don't mean songs where Brian does all of the harmonies, I mean recordings in which their are no backing vocals and Brian sings on his own.

I know that there's

Caroline, No
Don't Talk (Put Your Head On My Shoulder)
Surf's Up Demos

Any others of note?

what about the stories of Brian going back and replacing the other's parts with his own... any good examples?

Don't think that ever happened. Not really. He does a lot of IJWFTT on his own, but the other guys are in there, just buried. He also does the Veggies tag vocals on his own.

doubling Brian on the second bridge i believe.

i also just put on headphones and noticed a barely audible background vocal part on the second verse. sounds like Brian though.

Pretty sure it's Mike on the bass parts.
