Title: Brian sound-alike Post by: clinikillz on February 11, 2012, 03:29:39 PM Has anyone heard this guy? His covers are freakin' great. The Boys should consider hiring him to do Brian's parts on stage.

He's a regular poster here, too. He can pick out each harmony in any BB song and recreate it perfectly - just incredible. Title: Re: Brian sound-alike Post by: Summertime Blooz on February 11, 2012, 08:16:14 PM That's rather uncanny. I wonder if he naturally sounds like Brian or if he's doing an impression.
Title: Re: Brian sound-alike Post by: TheCanterburySound on February 11, 2012, 08:37:06 PM My God, he sounds just like Brian. Let's get this guy to record missing SMiLE lead vocals (DYLW definately comes to mind)!
Title: Re: Brian sound-alike Post by: hypehat on February 11, 2012, 08:48:45 PM Dude posts here. Calm yourselves.
Title: Re: Brian sound-alike Post by: Chris Brown on February 11, 2012, 09:24:52 PM I've listened to most of his Beach Boys covers (and there are a lot), all fantastic. He sure does have a knack for picking out parts and singing them incredibly well!
Title: Re: Brian sound-alike Post by: Cabinessenceking on February 12, 2012, 03:19:34 AM My God, he sounds just like Brian. Let's get this guy to record missing SMiLE lead vocals (DYLW definately comes to mind)! I also thought of that! DYLW, LTSD, CIFOTM, Even a cleaner run of H&V version (original single) with the 'free-score five' Title: Re: Brian sound-alike Post by: The Heartical Don on February 12, 2012, 04:24:02 AM If he is as awesome as all of youse claim here, they should lock him into Brian's keyboard on stage, and make him sing all the delicate parts.
Title: Re: Brian sound-alike Post by: Eric Aniversario on February 12, 2012, 02:54:15 PM I heard him for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and was so impressed, I shared 3 of his videos on my Facebook wall! His version of "She Knows Me Too Well" is particularly impressive!
Title: Re: Brian sound-alike Post by: SG7 on February 12, 2012, 07:33:40 PM Wow!!! So good.
Title: Re: Brian sound-alike Post by: tygerbug on February 14, 2012, 11:27:28 PM I'd like to hear his take on SMiLE's vocals as well.
It's very impressive that he can do every part himself, although that also results in a little bit of "sameness" to the parts and a lot of mike noise, so it would still be better if he were accompanied by another vocalist or two. They'd have to be as good as he is though. Title: Re: Brian sound-alike Post by: WWDWD? on February 14, 2012, 11:58:19 PM yeah, this guy manages to sound like almost all the beach boys convincingly. brilliant!
he posts on here and is located way over here in the far west of australia |
