Title: Carl Dean Wilson Post by: BananaLouie on February 06, 2012, 03:07:50 PM On this date in 1998, the world lost a beautiful and talented man, Carl Wilson as we all know passed away from lung cancer and The Beach Boys were deprived of one of their most important voices. As a tribute to Carl, feel free to talk about your favorite lead vocal or composition, any memories you have or just to say some nice words . Carl sang lead on many classic Beach Boys songs, God Only Knows and Good Vibrations among others. My personal favorites by Carl are I Can Hear Music, Time To Get Alone and Feel Flows. Carl was a kind and gentle man and in the music industry where there's a lot of cynicism this was a rare thing. Thank you Carl for sharing your beautiful voice and music with the world, you are greatly missed.
