Cool, if I'm not mistaken Paul McCartney was arrested for pot possession in Japan on this day in 1980, he had like half a pound of pot and he told authorities it was for his personal use, way to go Macca!  :lol

Love the Macca Unplugged CD (including the outtakes, "Things We Said Today", "Midnight Special", "Matchbox", "Mean Woman Blues" and "The Fool").

Also check out the McCartney MTV Rehearsals, which includes:

Blackbird - Blue Moon Of Leningrad - She's A Woman medley, Cumberland Gap - Hey Liley, Liley Lo - Freight Train medley,  Cut Across Shorty, Hi-Heel Sneakers, Froggie Went A-Courtin', I've Just Seen A Face, Love Me Tender, Midnight Special, Mother Nature's Son, Rock Island Line, Tequila, and Things We Said Today.

Gotta check that one out. Didn't even know he did Unplugged. On a related note I have to find Johnny Cash w/ Willie Nelson VH1 Storytellers that ought to be something else.

I tend to think 1989 throught 1993, Flowers In the Dirt to Off the Ground is Macca's weakest period.

LOL "Come On, People" is one of McCartney's best IMO.

Really? I love the man's music, but that one is a stinker. There's only a couple of tracks on Off The Ground that I ever go back to. I found the band during that period just too bland.

There's no better Macca records than RAM and McCartney II IMHO.

Agreed, though I rate Back to the Egg and Chaos & Creation pretty close to those two.

BTTE would be my favorite WINGS album, hands down better than even BOTR.
