Title: Thoughts on Foster The People? Post by: positivemusic on January 14, 2012, 07:07:10 PM I'm really into the song "Pumped Up Kicks," but haven't ventured any further into their output.
And since the posters here obviously have good taste with The Beach Boys, as well as pretty good taste outside their music, I'd like some of your opinions as to whether it would worth it to check out more of their music. (Unrelated Factoid: The keyboard player from MGMT grew up in the town next to me...I've never actually met the guy, but I have a friend who used to work with him.)

I hadn't heard about the likenesses of the two, but if they are similar in sound, I'm interested. And, its funny how local we find out stars are/were to us sometimes.
