Title: Similarities between The Beach Boys and The Beastie Boys compilations Post by: sheknowsmetoowell on January 01, 2012, 10:20:01 AM Has anyone ever noticed the similarities between the Beastie Boy's album, "The Sounds Of Science", and the BB's "Sounds Of Summer"? Both are compilation/greatest hits albums, both produced by Capitol, and both have the same spiral design on the disc. The weird thing though, is that The Beastie Boys album came out in 1999, while the BB's came out in 2003. You would think the Beastie's would be mocking the BB's, but it's the other way around?
