Title: Re: Remembering Carl Wilson...born this day in 1946 Post by: drbeachboy on December 21, 2011, 06:59:54 AM My favorite singer in The Beach Boys. The guy could sing just about any style asked of him. Much missed, but never forgotten. He left us way too early. Happy Birthday, Carl!
Title: Re: Remembering Carl Wilson...born this day in 1946 Post by: Emdeeh on December 21, 2011, 07:51:44 AM Amazing to think Carl would be turning 65, were he still with us. After all these years, I still love that man dearly. He was such a gracious soul and so blessed with talent. I'll be listening to his distinctive vocals a lot today.
Happy Carl's b-day to us all! Title: Re: Remembering Carl Wilson...born this day in 1946 Post by: southbay on December 21, 2011, 08:12:08 AM Best voice I have ever heard, dearly missed. How this reunion would be different with him in the mix. Was blessed to meet him several times and he was just as one would hope, gracious to a fault. What you saw on stage was no act.

Title: Re: Remembering Carl Wilson...born this day in 1946 Post by: b00ts on December 21, 2011, 10:46:24 AM What a loss. I listened to a few tracks on "Summer In Paradise" yesterday which were recommended to me as a 'second look' at the album. Carl's voice doesn't save the album, but if anything could, his voice could.
