Doe on December 18, 2011, 12:59:32 AM Thanks to the kindness of a poster here - hats off to Ryan - the vaults (http://www.esquarterly.com/bellagio/vaults.html), mono/stereo (http://www.esquarterly.com/bellagio/monostereo.html) and albums (http://www.esquarterly.com/bellagio/albumarchive1.html) pages of 10452 are now much easier to navigate internally.

That Zucherro song Chocabec is also the same as Spirit Together. Not sure if its on the same album Title: Re: Bit of an upgrade at 10452 Post by: Paulos on December 20, 2011, 02:43:27 AM Andrew - in the footnotes for the 1960s US albums discography you have put '+As leader of The Moon' for the Moon albums, Dave wasn't the leader - Matthew Moore was.

Not sure if its on the same album It's on the European version... I think. I much prefer the original Italian one. Title: Re: Bit of an upgrade at 10452 Post by: Jim V. on December 20, 2011, 07:28:31 PM I gotta ask about the decision to keep "Child Is Father Of The Man", "You Are My Sunshine", "Look", whatever else on the unreleased list. You say "Child..." and "Look" haven't been issued in "complete" form, but the facts are they are as complete as they are gonna be on a Beach Boys album. There is not a more complete version in the vaults, therefore why keep them on the list. And then to give the asterisk to "You Are My Sunshine", well, who is to say it is unfinished? Sounds finished to me. You got Denny doing his part, and then you got Brian singing over the "false barnyard" part. It's done as far as we know!
Anyways, just a few quibbles. There are also a few other things that could be corrected if you want me to help point them out, but if not, it's cool. Regardless of that, great page. Super informative. |
