Title: H&V Three score and five
Post by: grooveblaster on December 16, 2011, 07:52:10 AM
Is the "At three score and five I'm very much alive" verse available on the box anyplace other than CD #4 track 24?

Only other place would be Heroes part 1 on the 2 CD set. That's it.

I love that part and was glad it was included. It's also on the Smiley two-fer, but I think the new one is slightly better sound quality. Not quite at the fidelity as the rest of the parts, but it's there. I guess it was from a demo or from an acetate - that's the best quality they could get with it, I guess.

Yes, it was from a safety copy. Only exists in mono and they don't have the multi's for that particular section.

Where'd the version with Mike's vocals date from (you can hear it on the boxset - the second to last track on the 4th disk)? The same session as the verse rerecord?
