Let's just celebrate, I say. Let's celebrate nothing to do with Rolling Stone.. I think they only gave SMiLE 4 and a half stars while they gave the U2 box set 5 I'm still not over that Title: Re: ROLLING STONE magazine's #1 \ Post by: oldsurferdude on December 10, 2011, 06:57:43 PM So, how does this qualify as a "reissue"? I think they only gave SMiLE 4 and a half stars while they gave the U2 box set 5 I'm still not over that Rolling Stone has their favorites where everything they say and do is worshipped, and U2/Bono is one of them. Everyone else has pretty much trashed that recent box set release. I think that's what was being said Yeah, the U2 Box set. I read a few reviews of it that came up as recommended reading while reading Smile reviews, but I shouldn't say "everyone is trashing it." But I saw a couple of one-star reviews, and my local paper said it was the worst of the recent mega-boxes.... |
