Title: Vocals Only Vega-Tables Demo Post by: Freddie French-Pounce on November 17, 2011, 10:11:47 AM I did the good old inversion trick and got this, so I thought I'd share it with everyone!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS515qqfmvA (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS515qqfmvA) I tried it with the Other stereo mixes too, resulting in...: H&V: Mainly backing voacls and some track - some of the backing vocal edits are actually terrible heard without other music covering them up! Vega-tables: Essentially everything bar lead vocal Surf's Up: Not too much missing - No carl at end and piano is just echo. You're Welcome: Echo removed on second 'well your well' and thats about it. Wind Chimes: Section between the group Vocal's almost non-existant, and stuff missing from behind the group vocals. I'd always wondered whether it might have been Van Dyke taking some of the lines but I think this isolation clearly rules that out. The laughing vox are one of my favourite BBs moments.

So the extremely Brian-like falsetto of "I like you most of all", falsetto being something Mike did in maybe one other song, is Mike? Naw. Listen to this - I discovered this when the track first leaked (that you could do vocals only) and it made it extremely apparent to me. How Jay outlined it is precisely right, you can even hear the vocals overlap a bit.
