Title: Londons a lonely town Post by: matt-zeus on March 18, 2006, 05:29:51 PM I have a great cover of the Tradewinds 'New Yorks a Lonely town' covered by Welsh rocker Dave Edmunds as 'Londons a lonely town'. I think it was done in the mid 70s and I read somewhere that Brian was meant to be on it doing backing vocals. Certainly there is someone on there who sounds a bit like Brian, but I was wondering if anyone had any info about it, as its a real great song.

Here you go: Contains Dave Edmunds' "London's a Lonely Town", produced by Gary Usher and featuring backing vocals by Gary, Curt, Terry Melcher and Bruce Johnston, recorded in 1976. http://home.comcast.net/~m.moring/curt/1976.html Title: Re: Londons a lonely town Post by: matt-zeus on March 19, 2006, 05:02:22 AM Thanks for that, I am tempted to go and seek out that complete California collection if only to hear Brians contributions.
