Title: Cabinessence or Cabin Essence?
Post by: harrisonjon on November 11, 2011, 07:46:28 AM
One word or two? Was their inconsistency in spellings across the different versions/releases?

Based on this acetate in my collection, the two-word "Cabin Essence" was still being used as late as 1968.  This is the version prepared for the 20/20 album, with Carl's lead vocal.

Sure I've seen it as Cabin-Essence. Or am I thinking of Vega-Tables.

On Smile, "Cabin Essence".

On 20/20, "Cabinessence".

On BWPS, "Cabin Essence".
