Yes, at the very end of the Workshop sessionTitle: Re: The Hidden Tracks Post by: debonbon on November 05, 2011, 06:28:15 PM I was expecting the "truck driving man" isolated vocal from Cabin to be one of the bonus tracks. I don't remember hearing it on the box or am I missing it?

Yes, at the very end of the Workshop sessionI didn't realize they were a part of the same track - weird, since they clearly weren't recorded at the same session, or even in the same year. I don't remember hearing it on the box or am I missing it? No can do - it was added in 1968. If they could, they would have. Under the bench? But it isn't there? Title: Re: The Hidden Tracks Post by: Jay on November 06, 2011, 12:46:02 AM I thought the whole point of "hidden tracks" was to keep them hidden, giving listeners an unexpected little surprise. Party pooper. ::) :p

And its presence has a far more important meaning - a stereo mix of the Smiley Smile version of H&V might now be possible. A lot of the recent stereo remixes aren't exactly TRUE stereo due to certain missing pieces. I know about the differences between the original mixes and the nex stereo ones, but the only one that's really bothering me is the H&V stereo mix. To me, it's definitely lacking something crucial without the Baldwin. |
