Mine: Before: 1. Sunflower 2. Pet Sounds 3. Brian Wilson Presents Smile 4. Friends 5. That Lucky Old Sun After: 1. Sunflower 2. Pet Sounds 3. The Smile Sessions 4. Friends 5. That Lucky Old Sun I prefer TSS over BWPS, hands down, but I still like Sunflower and Pet Sounds better. Right now nothing by The Beach Boys or any other artist comes close to topping "Pet Sounds" as an album. That is having lived with the "SMiLE" material for over a decade now including BWPS. Hopefully by this time next year I'll be able to render a more precise evaluation as to where "SMiLE" fits into the grand scheme of things in regards to The Beach Boys once I've heard the material compiled in a definitive cohesive form. But it's going to take awhile (probably a year) for me to figure out where the album itself ranks although I feel the music itself is the best The Beach Boys ever recorded.

(I know most would argue it was horrible in the first place! haha)It was never my favorite album, but in the past it had been in the top 10.
