If you want some of the more detailed tellings of the stories Hal mentions, like the blow-up with John Phillips (Phillips was drunk and called Hal out for making a mistake when Phillips himself made it... :-D), his book is a short and great read with a lot of little details. And there are a few great online interviews as well. The book is well worth picking up.
