Hi Charles,

Could you check that URL? I'm registered for the Hoffman boards but get "go no further" message which I click on the link.

Many thanks...

Didn't work for me, either.  :shrug

It worked for me last night, and now it's saying I have to be registered to see it.  Weird.

EDIT:  I'm on the board now and the message appears to be gone.  It was a  long message posted by Steve Hoffman.  He said his friend Brad has sent him and others an email stating he was looking for an investor to get a new book or books started.

I wonder if anybody happened to archive it last night.  I wasn't thinking like that, so i didn't...

Basically, Brad is fishing for money again, promising 100% returns or part ownership of the company he's trying to create.

Yeah, it did work for me, also, last night, but not now.

The post is erased from the forum.

That explains why I couldn't get it. But what excitement  -  a new project by Brad! And he's looking for investors! I've just sent him a cheque for $200 (honest, cross my Elliot)  and am going to auction the two signed copies of First Wave I ordered... if they ever arrive!

I meant 200% returns - your original investment [he suggested $25,000 as a starting place] plus the same again.

Run away!  RUN AWAY!!!!

Steve Hoffman told me "Brad asked it to be pulled."

I'm a poster on Steve's 'board, could someone PM me Brad's I.D. over there? :police:

I don't know that Brad has an ID there.  Steve Hoffman posted the message that was pulled.

Steve and Brad have worked together on the First Wave project, the double CD set covering the entire Morgan-Hite sessions. I still hope that it will be released some day. Steve has only said great things about Brad on his forum, e.g. praised his Pet Sounds liner notes.

I guess he will never return.

Andreas, Steve indicated the message he posted was from an email Brad sent him.  However, all of Brad's online activity in the last few years hasn't appeared to be directly from him (his Ebay sales, for instance.)  Do we know if Brad actually sent that email, or was it from a helpful relative?

Someone should perhaps fill Steve in on Brad's business deals over the past couple of years :deadhorse
