1) All six band members are still alive in 2011 2) Mike, Al and Bruce died in the 1980's; all 3 Wilsons still alive today 3) Brian died instead of Carl in 1998? Also SMiLE may have been released earlier if the only thing holding it back was his approval.

Mike and co would of been the the touring band. Wilsons would of made an album or two before joining Mike and co at touring band and 90's box set Good Vibs, Pet Sounds, Smile, Brian in care with his family quite happy and safe, Dennis beating his demons after a near fatal drowning accident to becoming involved in dangerous sports. Carl becoming a self help author. Mike and co playing the hits. 2) Wilsons would of become another band making new music with guest stars joining the band from time to time until the untimely death of Carl in 98. 3) If Brian had died in 98 then a lot of the press would of told only about the drugs and "madness" of Brian Wilson and of how Smile given him a slow death since 67. Carl would of led on with support and reminded all of what Brian the person and producer and leader of The Beach boys have done towards the world of popular music and would of played an number of concerts playing music from a lost Beach Boys album Smile in 2005.

He became a cult icon, new fashion trends spread across the world immediately aping his style. Almost everyone you saw had a combover and neatly trimmed short beard. Everyone got a saxophone for Christmas 1968, just to be like Mike Love.

Am I just making this up or did Peter Ames Carlin say in his book that mike knocked up his girlfriend and tried to terminate the pregnancy would got found out? I think he said Mike was working in a factory or something.
