Half of the greatest songwriting duo in popular music died on August 22nd

BTW Brian inducted them into the Hall of fame, which led to his solo album contract after performing "On broadway"

Dang.That guy was responsible for at least 1/4 of my favorite songs.

I have a book titled Magic in the Air, Brill Building.  A lot of great stories about these guys and all of the Brill writers and producers.  I highly recommend it.
