I just read Heroes & Villains by Steve Gaines and the mention -- and tantalising description of the tape, including how much better than the released version it was (and I think the released version is real nice!) -- of the demo made me want to hear it even more...

The original cassette was rediscovered several years ago. Van Dyke now has a copy. The original is in safe hands. |
